Dr. Emily Lagergren

About Me
Dr. Emily Lagergren joined Vascular Surgical Associates, PC in 2018 following her vascular surgery fellowship at Emory University Hospital. She completed her general surgery residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and earned her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine, graduating with her undergraduate degree in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from Florida State University. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
“Continuity of care” is what pulled Dr Lagergren to the field of vascular surgery, and she remains passionate about female vascular health awareness. Dr. Lagergren has a special interest in the treatment of venous disease, lymphedema, lipedema, pelvic congestion syndrome, and May-Thurner syndrome. She is insistent on expanding access to care for these often-underdiagnosed conditions and takes a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to treatment.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and three children.
