About Me
Dr. Veer Chahwala joined Vascular Surgical Associates, PC in 2023. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is affiliated with Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, Wellstar Cobb Hospital, Northside Hospital – Cherokee, and Piedmont Cartersville.
Dr. Chahwala earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Oglethorpe University in Brookhaven, Georgia, and his Doctor of Medicine from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Miami at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Chahwala has a special interest in endovascular surgery, peripheral artery disease, complex dialysis access, aortic aneurysms and anterior spine exposures.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Chahwala enjoys sports, hiking, traveling, and photography.
