About Me

Dana Bocinsky, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant with Vascular Surgical Associates, seeing patients in our hospital settings since joining the team in 2023.  She primarily provides inpatient care at Wellstar Kennestone and Wellstar Cobb hospitals, while also seeing patients in the office on a limited basis.

Dana earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Sciences, with a focus in biology and social sciences, from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. She went on to graduate magna cum laude from Emory University with her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is also a member of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants.

Her connection to vascular surgery runs deep. Before becoming a PA, Dana spent seven years working in vascular surgery as a surgical technologist, a role that gave her an intimate understanding of the field and ignited a lasting passion for vascular patient care. She is drawn to the complexity of vascular medicine and finds purpose in empowering patients to feel informed and supported throughout every step of their healthcare journey.

Outside of work, Dana stays busy chasing after her five children, playing tennis, traveling, and cheering on her favorite Georgia sports teams.
