Dr. John E. Jones

About Me
Dr. John Jones is a board-certified vascular surgeon with Vascular Surgical Associates, P.C. where he has practiced since 2007. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Georgia and his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his general surgery residency at Boston University Medical Center, a research fellowship at the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute, and his vascular surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Jones has a special interest in endovascular surgery and peripheral artery disease. He has been named one of Atlanta’s Top Doctors by Atlanta Magazine for 2026.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Jones is an avid runner who enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and their four sons.
