Josie Grote

About Me
Josephine Grote, PA-C joined Vascular Surgical Associates, PC in 2025. She primarily provides inpatient care at Wellstar Cobb and Wellstar Kennestone hospitals, while also seeing patients in the office on a limited basis. She earned her Master of Physician’s Assistant Studies from South College in Atlanta, and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with minors in Psychology and Medical Sciences, from Indiana University.
Prior to joining VSA, Josephine gained broad clinical experience as a Patient Care Technician at IU Health and as a Medical Scribe with ScribeAmerica. She has also participated in medical mission trips to Guatemala and Kenya, providing free medical care and education to underserved communities.
A former Division I student-athlete, Josephine was a Team Captain for the Indiana University Varsity Women’s Swimming and Diving team, earning two-time All-American honors and qualifying for the 2020 US Olympic Team Trials.
